While a lot of chiropractic offices have come and gone over the years, I have been in full time practice, at this same location since 1987.  During this time it has been my most sincere pleasure to work with and for, some of the nicest, friendliest patients in the Four State area.

I am a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  This is where chiropractic was created in 1895.   At Palmer I was blessed with the opportunity to learn a variety of techniques from some of the finest instructors in the world.  It was there that I learned about the history of our profession, and began to employ some of the true and tested, as well as some of the more contemporary methods of healing.

Since graduating from Palmer, I have gone on to further my education in a number of areas.  Currently I am the only doctor in this part of the state recognized as a Distinguished Fellow in Chiropractic Biophysics.  This is a very demanding course of study, which teaches doctors how to provide a high level of care to their patients, which in turn allows doctors to teach patients methods which they can employ to strengthen and stabilize areas of weakness in their spine.  Presently there are only a handful of doctors in Missouri who have completed this training, most of them are either in Kansas City or St. Louis.

I am one of only several doctors in the Joplin area to have gone back to school and received additional training in acupuncture.  In our office, I do not perform the traditional forms of acupuncture which employ the insertion of needles into the body.  Instead, we utilize what is known as electro acupuncture. Both traditional acupuncture and electro acupuncture work extremely well.  The advantage of electro acupuncture is that the treat-ments require much less time, and for those who hate needles, don’t worry, there are no needles.

Additionally, I am one of the few doctors in Missouri who has undergone additional training and is recognized as a Certified Insurance Claims Consultant.

Over the years I have, and remain very active in our state and local chiropractic associations.   In the past I have served as President of the Four State Chiropractic Association, and as President of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association Political Action Committee.
